The Canadian Horticultural Council’s (CHC) Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an opportunity for leaders in fruit and vegetable production, retail, business, and the federal government to come together to discuss priority issues and decide on a course of action for addressing these issues in the coming year.

What will the 2019 CHC AGM audience look like?

The audience will be comprised of 150+ industry leaders and influencers, including 100+ farmers and horticultural producers and 50+ executives and other senior administrators.

How will my sponsorship be recognized?

In addition to the visibility you will get through the purchase of any of the sponsorship opportunities offered below, you will also automatically receive the following free promotion:

  • Logo under “Thank you to our sponsors” on our AGM web page (the earlier you secure your sponsorship, the sooner you will be added to our page, and the more attention your logo will get as delegates register and consult the event program)
  • Logo on “Thank you to our sponsors” page in AGM event binder, which is distributed to all (150+) delegates, and which all delegates consult frequently throughout the week.
  • Logo on “Thank you to our sponsors” page in the fall issue of Fresh Thinking, CHC’s semi-annual bilingual print magazine that reaches 5,000+ people across Canada, the U.S. and internationally.
How are sponsorship levels defined?

These sponsorship opportunities are provided in an “à la carte” format. Meaning, you are able to pick and choose the opportunities that most appeal to you, based on your budget. Sponsors will be publicly recognized for their overall support of the AGM (as noted above in “how will I be recognized for my sponsorship”) according to the following levels:

  1. Title Sponsor – $20,000 (only one available)
    Additionally includes:
    • Special recognition and thank you by CHC President during opening and closing remarks
    • Special banner prominently displayed next to registration desk during entirety of AGM
    • Top placement on all public recognition materials
    • Free event registration for two (2) people
  2. Platinum – $15,000
    • Also includes free event registration for 1 person
  3. Gold – $10,000
    • Also includes free event registration for 1 person
  4. Silver – $5,000 
  5. Bronze – $2,500 
  6. Friend – $1,000
What is the difference between “Interactive” and “Branded” opportunities?

Interactive opportunities offer face-time with delegates, parliamentarians and government decision makers. These opportunities allow you to interact with people on-site, to engage in conversation, and to speak to a broad audience.

Branded opportunities focus on visibility. These opportunities allow you to heighten recognition of your company products and services by increasing impressions of your logo and company name over the three days of the AGM.
