On Thursday, visit the Canadian Museum of History

The Canadian Museum of History is located on the banks of the Ottawa River, holding a stunning view of the Parliament Buildings. It is especially noteworthy for its exhibits on Aboriginal Peoples and its reconstructions of Canadian life throughout history. The museum was designed by Alberta aboriginal architect Douglas Cardinal, whose buildings are noted for their flowing curves and few straight lines.
